Dieter Wimmer
Business Development Manager

Dieter is responsible for establishing and developing client relationships in the German market.  He is an expert in the field of e-ticketing solutions for public transit.  His experience in this area has focused on the establishment and direction of large electronic data processing departments and the modeling, development and implementing of ticketing systems.

In addition, Dieter has many years of experience as a senior consultant for the German transportation industry. This experience covers a range of activities including consulting, needs analysis, system analysis, system design, project management and proposal preparation.  

Prior to joining Cubic in 2002, he was director of IT for Rail Consult GmbH, head of the IT department for Kölner Verkehrs-Betriebe AG and managing director for the Patris Development Group.  Dieter also has comprehensive training in software development and database design.
