Hurricane Sandy ripped through the northeast last week, leaving a path of destruction in her wake. Fifty million Americans have been affected by Sandy, including many of our employees, their families, as well as our customers and suppliers and their families. Our hearts and support go out to all those who have been impacted.
All of us at Cubic Transportation Systems hope that despite that all the damage, difficulty and inconvenience caused by Sandy, you and your family have made it safely through the storm. As you assess the damage and address your top priorities, we would like you to know we are proactively taking steps to position us to assist in restoring full service to your customers.
The unprecedented damage to transit systems in the northeast, caused by Sandy, will have to be matched by an unprecedented collective effort to fully restore transportation systems for the region. As your partner, we’re fully committed to do our share and beyond to contribute to this effort.
As part of our commitment to helping to rebuild the communities that have been devastated by the storm, Cubic has made a $25,000 donation to the Red Cross relief efforts. We highly encourage those who can to contribute supplies and money to do so. We have partnered with the Red Cross to create a link that dedicates your donation to relief efforts specifically related to the storm. Click here to donate to the Red Cross.
