Hong Kong was Cubic’s first entry into the international marketplace when the company was awarded a contract in 1976 from the Hong Kong Mass Transit Railway Corporation. Since then, Cubic has delivered systems in Bangkok, Singapore, Shanghai and Guangzhou, and most recently is under contract to Translink Transit Authority in Brisbane, Australia. Here, Cubic designed and delivered the most advanced fare collection system in Australia called go card, and Cubic is also providing a full spectrum of support services.
Cubic also provides asset management and maintenance services for RailCorp in Sydney.
