Ab Jenkins
Worldwide General Counsel & Secretary
Ab Jenkins was named worldwide general counsel and secretary for Cubic Transportation Systems in February 2012, and is responsible for the Cubic Transportation Systems legal organization worldwide. Ab has been with Cubic since June of 2003, most recently serving as senior counsel, ethics and compliance, for Cubic Corporation. He acted as primary legal counsel for Cubic Global Tracking Solutions and Cubic Security Systems in addition to managing the Cubic Corporation Ethics and Compliance program and providing legal support to Cubic Corporation and all its subsidiaries.
Ab has been the legal lead for a number of Cubic’s acquisitions including the $124 million acquisition of Abraxas Corporation in 2010, the largest acquisition in Cubic Corporation’s history. He has a breadth of legal experience and has been the point person at Cubic for a number of legal issues including benefits, real estate and corporate political activity.
He is a graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law, where he received his juris doctorate, and of Brigham Young University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Japanese. During law school he also clerked for the Civil Division of the United States Attorney Office for the Southern District of California in San Diego, California.
